Versatile twin tip ski for women. Volkl Pearl Skis 2009: The Volkl Pearl Ski is an all-purpose, symmetrical twin tip that's strong enough for pro riders, yet fun to ski on the whole mountain. The Volkl Pearl is the choice of Völkl team rider Ashley Battersby. Other Features POWER CONSTRUCTION: Völkl's longest-running construction, Power Construction utilizes traditional vertical sidewalls and a torsion box internal layup. Featured in Race Stock skis as well as all Freeskiing models, this construction provides tremendous grip, stability, and sensitivity when combined with the Sensorwood core. TOUGH BOX: Constructed by wrapping the POWER CONSTRUCTION wood core with layers of fiberglass strands. Made up of numerous 4 X 4 wraps, and oriented at different angles the TOUGH BOX increases the strength of the connection between ski binding and ski. MULTI LAYER WOOD CORE: Technology is made up of two wood cores: a denser and more powerful core in the binding mounting area and running along the ski's top layer; and a lighter wood core as a lower layer. These used skis and bindings are in very good condition. Topsheets have some light scratches and scuffs. There are also some deep scrapes and dings at sides. Bases are in very good shape, they have some light scratches. Edges are in very good shape as well- straight and true all the way around. Bindings have some light scratches and wear.
