Uschi 87 Alchemist Women's Skis. All-mountain skiers will love the performance and versatility of the DPS Uschi 87 Alchemist. At 87 mm underfoot, the skis are capable of both on and off-trail performance.
They are suited for on-piste activities because of their ability to carve clean arcs through any type of snow. From fresh corduroy to frozen hard pack, the Uschi 87 loves to be on edge. When you set the edge to the snow, you'll feel the wood core with carbon layers really come to life. The rebound you will get from the Uschi 87 Alchemist is tremendous. You'll feel instantly rocketed into the next turn.
The on-trail performance is simply sublime. The lightweight and quick nature of the skis really shines when the Uschi 87 is on the groomers. The full sidewall construction means that edge grip is extraordinary, and you'll love the torsional stiffness of the skis when you're carving turns at top speed. Skilled skiers will glean the best performance, because the carbon is pretty stiff, after all. Off-piste, the rocker profile allows the skis to glide up and over any and all terrain and snow conditions. While the Uschi 87 still has camber underfoot, you'll appreciate that in the deep snow because you'll have a lot better maneuverability. The tail rocker releases you from turns with little to no effort, and will never keep you locked into the turns unwillingly.The DPS Uschi 87 Alchemist is the ultimate all-mountain tool for skiers who love the front side of the mountain, but are ready and willing to take their skiing off-piste as well. The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch.
The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size eg.
A mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm. Please include the "mm" unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size. For taking Ski + Binding to a certified ski shop before use to make final adjustments and do a safety release check. We do NOT set DIN levels.
