Ripstick 88 Women's Skis. The all-new 2020 Elan Ripstick 88 Women's skis are an ideal choice for ladies who love to rip up the whole mountain. Built mainly as a front-side stick with all-mountain capabilities, the Ripstick 88 W is a new shape that builds off of the other Ripstick models in Elan's line.

Best when used by intermediate and above skier levels, the Ripstick 88 W has a high-performance ceiling and a high-end feel. Built with Elan's tubelite wood core, the skis have a very light, yet stable feel, mostly due to the carbon tubes that line the wood core. This technology increases the fore-aft stiffness and makes the ski hold a strong edge. The vapor tip inserts replace the wood in the tip with a composite material, and this increases maneuverability and quickness by lowering the swing weight of the ski.

With more material and mass in the underfoot areas, the skis have a strong carving prowess while remaining fun and playful in the tips and tails. In the softer snow, you'll love the Amphibio rocker profile.

This creates more of a sidways rocker versus a front to back. As a result, the skis have more pressure and material over the inside edge of the ski and a more playful and flexible feel on the outside or uphill edge.
