The Element features quiet a generous sidecut which means it will invite you into a turn when you tip the ski over on edge. With that being said, a bit of rocker out in the tip keeps the ski from being too hooky, so although they do like to turn, you have a lot more say over the turn shape you want to make. Skis like this are great for rapidly advancing beginners or intermediates as they allow skiers to progress through providing a balance of great on-trail performance along with forgiveness and an easy-going personality.
