Built with a wood core consisting of beech and fir stringers, Kastle puts its signature on these skis in terms of high-quality precision. By laying the wood stringers in a vertical orientation, the wood core functions a lot stiffer than if they were larger blocks of wood.

This allows for a more precise edge and snow feel, as it allows the ski to flex into the snow with more stiffness than not. Add to that a layer of fiberglass on the top of the wood core, and you've got all the energy and responsiveness that you'll ever need out of an all-mountain ski like this. The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot.

This number will be greater than your mondo boot size eg. A mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm. Please include the "mm" unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size.
