Maven 86 C Women's Skis. The Atomic Maven 86 C women's skis are a fantastic choice for intermediate and advanced skiers who are looking for something light, quick, and precise, and capable of true all-mountain skiing. From laying down mean trenches on the groomers to dancing through the bumps and trees, the Atomic Maven 86 C skis have a lot of strengths, and very few weaknesses. Thanks to the shape, profile, and construction, the Atomic Maven 86 C is a true all-mountain ski with quickness and agility to spare.

Built with a poplar wood core, which already has a ton of energy and strength to it, Atomic adds carbon stringers that run through the forebody into the tip and back through the tail. These stringers are paired with a titanal plate underfoot for solid edge grip and carving power, but that metal doesn't really add a lot of weight to the whole package, and certainly not to the swing weight of the skis, as that mass is more centered underfoot. HRZN tip technology adds a good amount of float and smoothness in the powder, and it does so by making the tip shape more rounded to achieve more surface area without adding width. Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL). The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch.

The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size eg. A mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm. Please include the "mm" unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size.
