Yumi 84 Women's Skis with Bindings. The Volkl Yumi 84 Provides a versatile all-mountain platform with an energetic and easy-going personality. Not all of us want a heavy and stiff all mountain ski.

Sometimes it's just too much. The Yumi 84 strikes a balance of a lightweight build and enough stability to handle a multitude of ski conditions both on and off the piste. Starting with its construction, the Yumi 84 features a multilayer wood core which is enhanced by a Fiberglass frame and a Titanal band. The glass frame provides torsional stiffness and power for responsiveness and edge hold without adding any weight, while the Titanal band that runs through the center of the ski provides a level of vibration damping for added stability overall. At 84 millimeters underfoot, this ski is narrow enough to maintain great torsional stiffness for fantastic on-piste performance, and just wide enough for those days when things get a bit softer. It is by no means a powder ski, but it can handle a bit of soft snow and crud very well. A bit of tip and tail rocker help the ski float and provide tremendous ease of maneuverability while camber underfoot give the ski a nice snap from one turn to the next. The Yumi 84 also Features Volkl's 3D Radius Sidecut which incorporates three different length arcs into the sidecut of the ski for easy turn shape manipulation. From short quick turns to long arcs, you can make any turn shape you want on this ski in a very intuitive manner.

Take the Yumi 84 into some technical terrain of the groomed trails and you'll be delighted with how easily this ski handles. In the bumps it's narrow enough to squeeze through tight bumps and light enough to throw around, while its shape and rocker profile allows for a lot of edge release for those controlled skidded turns. The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot.

This number will be greater than your mondo boot size eg. A mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm. Please include the "mm" unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size.
