Kenja 88 Women's Skis. It will not affect ski performance. The Volkl Kenja 88 sets the bar as being the quintessential front side all mountain ski for advanced to expert skiers. The Kenja 88 offers the precise and smooth feel that so many of us have come to know and love from Volkl. Starting with Volkl's classic construction featuring a multilayer wood core and a Titanal Frame, The Kenja 88 draws its power and smoothness from two laminates of laying on top of and underneath the wood. The laminate on the bottom comes in the form of a full sheet which offers tremendous stability, while the frame of Titanal laying over the core allows the ski to flex naturally while providing a lot of torsional stiffness and driving power into the edges of the ski for those deep trenching arcs on firm snow. At 88 millimeters under the boot, you get premium on-trail performance with a little bit of versatility and forgiveness when things get a bit soft or variable. A subtle tip and tail rocker profile in the Kenja 88 give it the necessary float and maneuverability for skiing any sort of off piste terrain as long as you're not in chest deep powder. Another feature that gives the Kenja 88 a unique feel is Volkl's 3D radius Sidecut which incorporates three different length arcs into the sidecut of the ski for easy turn shape manipulation. Depending on how you weight the ski and drive it into a turn, you can ride out some longer arcs or drive it into a quicker turn which brings a whole new meaning to just going and making some turns. To take advantage of this free mounting, you must provide your Boot Sole Length (BSL) by messaging us. If this is for a NORDIC ski, we just need your EU boot size in order to mount. Read below for more information on BSL.

Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL). The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size eg. A mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm. Please include the "mm" unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size.
