The approach they took involves a dual wood core that sandwiches a layer of rubber which runs through the length of the ski. The benefits of this construction are a smoother flex, more liveliness, and more stability and vibration damping. The ski's design accounts for the added ride height of bindings. A Natural Stance design lowers the height of the binding by about 2 millimeters and sets the heel lower than the toe creating a very centered, natural and balanced stance over the ski.
